East-facing vineyard right next to Auxey-Duresses. Rich and buttery, but not heavy. Get ripe McIntosh apples, lemon zest, custard, blanched almond and a bit of bitter red apple skin. Finishes much dryer than the plump juiciness of the wine suggests. This wine will make just about any fish taste better.
