Domaine Ruet Chiroubles Beaujolais 2017

The “La Fontenelle” is from 40-60 year-old vines and does not spend any time in oak barrels. Traditional semi-carbonic maceration gives the wine its freshness and its floral characteristics, but the wine impresses with depth and concentration as well. This is a wine of grace and beauty with red, currant, black cherry, fig and red velvet cake. The old-vines give the wine a sturdy platform of acidity and tannins to showcase the flashy flavors.
