Charmes is one of the best Premiers Crus in the great village of Meursault. The traditional richness of Meursault comes from barrel fermentation and ageing, MLF, and bâttonage: expect aromas of cooking apples, yogurt, toast, butter, and roasted almonds, together with ripe lime fruits. But all that richness is balanced by a high acidity from the cooler 2014 vintage. Balanced, supple, and inviting.
