The ever-consistent Domaine Pinson is back with the 2022’s and the “La Forêt” is likely the best 1er Cru of the vintage. The 68-year-old vines show a limestone quality and a touch of floral to go along with the citrus qualities. The salty acidity shines through the neutral barrel aging, providing a softness to the mid-palate. A beautiful stone fruit note streaks through the entirety of the wine with striking acidity, proving this has the proper chalky intensity.
