Domaine Philippe Tessier Cheverny Blanc 2023

The commune of Cheverny in the Loire can produce wines of piercing acidity, but the Tessier Family has found that small additions of Chardonnay and Menu Pineau work wonders.  The grapes are farmed organically with the only additions being 12 ppm SO2 at bottling.  Meyer lemon, tangerine and tropical notes are balanced out by salty minerality. The palate is intensely grippy, yet it is rich, round and dry.
