Domaine Madeloc "Robert Pages" Banyuls NV

90% Grenache and 10% Grenache Gris. This is a more traditional style of Banyuls, aged outdoors for one year in glass demijohns to give a noticeable rancio profile. This is rich (80g/L) and complex with aromas of raspberry, prune, raisin, bitter orange, dried flowers, dried herbs, walnut, and black pepper. The palate has a fresh, long, spicy finish. Drink with gorgonzola!
