Domaine Lupin “Frangy” Roussette Savoie 2020

Bruno Lupin’s focus is on his Roussette de Savoie, which many regard as the premier definition of the Altesse grape in Savoie. His home village of Frangy is recognized as a privileged place for Altesse, as such this is one of the best we have ever come across.  Grown at an elevation of 350-500m in an Alpine climate, the wine has intense lemon/lime flavors with a washed-rind minerality that hints at the vineyards calcareous soils. Green apple, Marcona almonds, honey and a steely freshness.
