Beautiful, upfront Pinot from Les Duresses, one of Monethelie’s Premiers Crus that’s the last of Lafon’s vineyards to ripen. Vibrant aromas of strawberries and red cherries, violets, woody smoke, and cedar lead on to a palate that’s pure, gripping, and generous. The immediacy of this vintage means it’s drinking superbly already, but it will last another ten years or more.
