This is an enticing Savoie blend of Gamay, Etraire de la Dhuy – a grape that’s new to us – and “various unknown indigenous grapes.” Some carbonic notes on the fresh, fruity nose, as well as wild strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries which are really crunchy, while the palate has chewy tannins, very lively acidity, and a long, concentrated finish. Think Beaujolais with some added tannin.
