Domaine des Vieux Pruniers Christian Thirot-Fournier Sancerre 2023 375ml

Organically grown in an amphitheater on the hillsides of the village Buè. Chalky soils with small pebbles provide a smoky, flinty minerality with small amounts of pyrazines. Herbs, crushed gravel, green apple, crisp pear, and well balanced acidity. The wine is only lightly floral, with lemon/lime, and nectarine, but the soil is what really shines in this Sancerre, staying to true to its terroir.
