Domaine des Lises Crozes-Hermitage 2015

From the son of acclaimed producer Alain Graillot. Maxime makes his wines differently, with some new oak (15-20%) and more destemming to produce a fruitier style. The 2015 is particularly lush and upfront for Crozes-Hermitage, with ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries. Add tarragon and thyme, spicy licorice, and smoky oak aromas and intense, grainy tannins. Very inviting.
