The wines of Alpine Savoie are gaining a good reputation, and Domaine des Ardoisières are considered one of the best producers. This blend of Jacquère, Chardonnay, and Mondeuse Blanche is redolent of the Alps, with aromas of Alpine flowers growing on the high, rocky slopes, as well as green apples, lemon, and peach. Wonderfully fresh, light, and acidic, with nutty, biscuit aromas giving the wine intensity and concentration.
