Domaine de Reuilly Rose of Pinot Gris 2018

The appellation of Reuilly in the Loire Valley is most known for its steely Sauvignon Blancs, but there is a good amount of Pinot Gris that is direct pressed and allowed to rest in contact with the skins to make a vin gris with the lightest of a salmon hue. Similar to the steely whites, but with a creamy quality of apricot, and peach pit; he flavors are rounded out by a watermelon rind quality and a teeter tottering finish of acid and tannins.
