100% Cabernet Franc. The vineyard has the bizarre name “Les Chiens Chiens.” No one knows why it’s called “The Dogs Dogs,” that’s just the way it’s always been. And it produces classic Cabernet Franc: herbal and slightly green, dark, chewy, and intense on the palate. A great winter wine without being too heavy.
