Domaine de la Damase Picpoul VDP du Vaucluse 2025

Picpoul is probably most famous for making value driven wines in from Pinet region in the Languedoc but it is one of the famous 18 legal grapes of Châteauneuf du Pape. This, coming from Vaucluse, gives it more structure and rounder aromas of melon and kiwi. It still bears the trademark lemon/lime, green apple, pear, white flowers and high acidity. It is unfortunate it has been overshadowed in the Rhône by other whites.
