This entry level Bourgueil is probably the most complex red wine you will find for $20. Cabernet Franc from 45–60-year-old vines fermented in stainless steel. 2020 was a hot vintage, with ripe fruit that remains fresh.Textbook Cab Franc; green pepper corns, raw meat, red plums, herbs, dried roses and grippy acid and tannins. Very drinkable now though there is enough depth in this vintage to age short-term.
