Domaine de l'Eveche Cote Chalonnaise 2015

The Côte Chalonnaise lies south of Côte d’Or, and produces some great value alternatives. This small domaine with 13ha of plantings goes all the way back to 1699, with vines for this wine planted as far back as 1950. This is a welcoming red Burgundy, with a pretty, fruity nose of cranberries, strawberries, and raspberries, with earthy, smoky, peppery aromas. Light-bodied and approachable, a good summer Pinot.
