Soil and minerals dominate the palate in this rugged blend of 80% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah from this biodynamic domaine. Very difficult terrain—you can almost taste the toil and strain of farming these rocky hillsides. Dark purple in the glass, smell and taste wild strawberry, blackberry, bramble, lavender, slate, old saddle leather and game. Rustic and rough around the edges.
