Domaine de Bellene Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes 2021

A blend of four lieu-dits make up the heart and soul of this old-vine delight: Les Argillats (two plots), Les Charmottes, and Aux Chouillets. Sourced from the center of Nuits St. George in mostly clay-limestone soils, the wine is vilified in 600-liter barrels, 25% new. The 202 vintage classic grapes with moderate fruit and fresh acidity. There is a good amount of grip and herbal notes from the old vines, but the fruit is able to carry the weight and intensity, supporting the big structure.
