Domaine Charvin "Le Poutet" Cotes du Rhone 2021

Charvin is famous for their Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but the "Le Poutet", a blend of 81% Grenache, 7% Mourvèdre, 7% Syrah, and 5% Carignan hits on all cylinders with its CdR. A young and aromatic wine with some peppery notes and a whisper of sous-bois. With its soft palate, ripe fruit and swish of herbs, it is a vibrant and refreshing example of organic Côtes du Rhône.
