"Les Cris" are "The Screams," as in "This wine SCREAMS of terroir." This is a classic, wonderful expression of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc with its chalky, crisp, citrus-y, of-the-earth character. Smell and taste yellow grapefruit, Meyer lemons, Granny Smith apples and quince paste. Lemon thyme, lemongrass, chalky finish. Take this to an crab and/or oyster feast and have a ball.
