Domaine Bregeon Muscadet Sevre et Maine Gorges 2018 MAGNUM

Many people think of Muscadet as just a high quality dry white that overdelivers, but these wines have so much more to offer.  The cru of Gorges was among the first crus of the Sèvre-et-Maine appellation to be recognized in 2011. The blueish-green, igneous rock of the region lends unique pencil shavings characteristics with dried apricots, light nuttiness, jackfruit, and leesy yeast notes. A 2018 that has many characteristics of Chablis with amazing acidity and structure for aging.
