Chenin Blanc coming from Chinon is extremely rare, let alone imported, and this particular Kermit Lynch import comes from 1 hectare of which is planted on clay and limestone. The Chenin in this wine seems to be a touch more savory and rich than other French regions without compromising the acidity. Raw honey/ bee’s wax, honeydew melon and thyme. There is a rich and sleek mouthfeel that leads to a finish that is both long and dry.
