Domaine Allemand "Theusien" Rouge Haute-Aples 2020

The best Mollard grape money can buy. An old School grape that was commonly grown at farmhouses in the region of the Haut-Alpes.  The grape shows characteristics of both Gamay and Mondeuse. Perfumed with potpourri, Luxardo cherries, and both red and black fruits.  Loire-like characteristics are found with a tinge of pyrazines, boiled-down cranberries and peppery spices on a medium weight body.
