Didier Dagueneau "Pur Sang" Pouilly-Fume 2015

This wine was first made in 1988, when Dagueneau pioneered experimentation with single-parcel wines in Pouilly-Fumé. The vineyard is St-Laurent, in the northern part of the appellation. It’s richer in clay, which helps give the wine a fuller, creamier, distinctive style os Sauvignon Blanc. The name “Pur Sang” means thoroughbred, and refers to the shire horse used to plow the vineyards.
