Dhondt-Grellet Terres Fines Blanc de Blancs

Coming from nine different plots all from the limestone rich soils of Cuis with an average age of 45 years, Les Terres Fines is an expression of Chardonnay that could only come from Cuis.  Big and full-bodied with ripe darker fruit, pear, brioche, lemon and round acidity.  The blend is perpetual with 70% base wine going back to 1986.  Very low dosage on this, but the wine has the weight and the age to handle the acidity.
