The cool, foggy mornings followed by the intense sunshine of Santa Barbara expresses itself in this quite high acid, ripe, strong flavored Chardonnay. Smell & taste candied lemon peel, graham crackers, brown butter, quince paste, apricot and "minerality." Low ML, 30% new French oak, lots of lees stirring. Great match with breaded & fried oysters.
