DANIEL is Daniel Fitzgerald, winemaker. His experience @ Williams Selyem, who also make "Ferrington" Pinot, shows in this intensely flavored, classic cool climate Anderson Valley Pinot. Smell & taste griottes (wild red cherry), pomegranate, ruby grapefruit, coriander, cedar, black tea and (of course) red roses. Has mouth-watering acidity without being tart. 45% new French oak aged for 10 months. 275 cases made.
