Dampt Freres "Fourchaume" Premier Cru Chablis 2015

Fourchaume is an elevated, southeast-facing site that some say deserves to be elevated to Grand Cru. In most vintages this wine takes a few years for the fruit to come to the fore, but in the ripe 2015 vintage the fruit is up front: get juicy yellow apple, fresh lemon and a bouquet of spring flowers along with classic Chablis minerality on the way to a long, spicy finish.
