Famous Sicilian producer started in 1980, and to this day making the most "natural" wines they can make. Biodynamic farming, little or no sulphur addition in the winemaking. If you're familiar with Frappato, you'll find this on the darker, riper side for the grape. Needs a lot of air to stretch out and lose its opening funk. Then get red berry fruits, dry herbs, game, roast peppers, black tea, tobacco and leather.
