Comando G La Bruja de Rozas Sierra de Gredos 2016

An absolutely fantastic project based just outside Madrid, Comando G specialise in old-vine Garnacha from the rocky, high-altitude slopes of Sierra de Gredos. It’s pioneers like these who are reshaping Spain’s wine scene. Made with native yeast and macerated for over 40 days, there’s an extremely attractive, floral, pretty, earthy nose of lavender, licorice, strawberry, raspberry, and red cherry, followed by dry, dusty tannins on the palate and fresh acidity. Outstanding.
