87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot. Majority of the fruit comes from Coombsville. 21 months in oak. Subtle violet, clove and cocoa complements the ripe blueberry and black cherry smells and flavors. Medium tannins, medium acidity, chock full of flavor. Headwaters is a favorite of ours every vintage, and this 2013 falls right in line. Drink now or hold.
