Aperitif wine from Asti, Piedmont. “The original Americano,” this aperitif was introduced by Giulio Cocchi in 1891. Herbs, fruit and spices – most notably quinine, gentian and citrus – is infused in a base of Moscato d’Asti & aged a year before release. In Piedmont it’s served on ice with an orange twist and splash of soda.
