Clos des Centenaires Roussanne 2016

It’s unusual and very welcome to find Roussanne on its own, a qualitu grape variety that’s often used to bring aromatics to a blend. The fruit comes from Costières de Nîmes, grown on rocky soils near the Mediterranean. The nose is aromatic, with jasmine, honeysuckle, peach, nectarine, and roasted almonds, followed by a palate that’s quite rich but with lively acidity and a long chewy finish.
