Clos Cibonne Tibouren "Cuvee Speciale Tibouren" Cotes de Provence 2015

Tibouren: grown primarily in Provence, of Greek or Middle Eastern origin. Clos Cibonne vineyards are 800 meters from the Mediterranean. 10% Syrah. Briefly aged on its lees in tank - no oak. Smell and taste dark wild strawberries, cigar wrapper, tamarind, roast walnuts, cola, black tea and plum sauce. Light tannins, bright acidity. Typically considered a "Food Wine," but this vintage is more fruity and tasty-alone than most years.
