Cliff Lede Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018

The grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc are mainly sourced from east Rutherford which is home to old clones of musqué and semillon. The other vines that contribute to the blend come from Calistoga. Fermentation was 67% French oak, 29% stainless steel and 4% concrete eggs. After fermentation the wine was aged on its lees with daily or weekly batonage. Flavors of kaffir lime, lychee, a limestone-like minerality and there is a richness from the oak to balance the intense acidity.
