Christophe Pichon Viognier Collines Rhoadiennes 2016

From the Collines Rhoadiennes appellation which encompasses the northern Rhône comes this very approachable Viognier from 3rd generation Condrieu producer. As floral, aromatic, and fruity as you’d expect from Viognier, with acacia, honeysuckle, jasmine, peach, apricot, and melon aromas, but with a fresh acidity not always associated with the grape, followed by a grainy, spicy palate. Enjoy with shellfish.
