Chateau Thivin Cotes de Brouilly Beaujolais 2020

The Gamay from Côte de Brouilly is always more serious and built for the long haul than many other Crus of Beaujolais.  The blue volcanic soils produce a dark fruited wine with crunchy berries, plums, baking spices and cherries. The tannins are polished but present, providing structure and depth, with a denseness rarely found in the Beaujolais.
