47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. 2012 was an excellent vintage for Bordeaux, reflected in the ripe black fruit aromas in historic Margaux producer Château Rauzan’s second wine, Ségla. It’s drinking wonderfully well now, its juiciness held together with firm tannins and smoke from ageing in 20% new French oak. There are some hints of maturity, with dried fruits and tobacco. Drink now-2025.
