Chateau Pierre-Bise “La Roche Aux Moines” Savennieres 2020

Roche Aux Moines is arguably the most famous cru in Savannières along with Coulee de Serrant, and in 2011 they were awarded their own distinguished appellation.  This vineyard is known for extremely long-lived Chenin Blanc, while showing more depth in its youth. Wooly aromas, with grapefruit, orange zest, bay leaf and a creamy, embracing mouthfeel. The softness seamlessly transfers to kiwi, green apples, pears, and a long enjoyable finish.
