Chateau Latour "Le Pauillac de Latour" Bordeaux 2017

The third label from Latour is what lesser chateau dream about. Cabernet based with 40% Merlot and 7 % Petit Verdot, providing the wine a medium body and herbal qualities. Flavors of stewed plums, blackberry ganache, forest floor, dark chocolate and a mineral finish of river-rocks, saddle leather and sweet cigar. The finish is soft, as this wine is always ready to drink upon release, but a few more years in the cellar should show more mature fruit.
