Chateau du Cedre Cahors 2014
SKU
3983
Organically farmed, 90% Malbec, with 5% each of Merlot and Tannat, and aged for 22 months in used French oak. Cahors can sometimes be a little rough around the edges, but there’s a welcome refinement to this wine, with an inviting softness, held together by a nice, grainy structure and fresh acidity, and aromas of coffee, blackberry, damson, black cherry, cloves, and nutmeg. A smooth, appealing wine to be drunk with lamb.
