Chateau de Mattes Sabran Corbieres "Le Viala" 2015

1/3 each Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from the winery’s various vineyards (“La Viala” is local dialect for “a group of people living and working together”). Fermented/aged in cement and stainless steel. Floral, perfumey nose leads to ripe red cherries, wild strawberries, lavender and black olives. Smooth, fine tannins. Rich and concentrated, with just the right amount of “rusticity.”
