Charles Hours Jurancon Sec Clos Uroulat "Cuvee Marie" 2015

The grapes that make up this dry white wine are mostly Gros Manseng with some Courbu. The vineyards are netled into the Pyrénées mountains and they produce a wine that is both rustic and fresh. Bright flavors of raw honey, yellow apple, pear, cantaloupe, tangerine and mango show well right along side honeysuckle and flowers. There is an underlying note of minerality that compliments the juicy acidity. This is seriously fun.
