Charles Audoin Bourgogne Aligote 2017

More producers are taking Burgundy’s other white grape, Aligoté, much more seriously. This Aligoté comes from 90-year-old vines grown in Marsannay, the age of the vines adding to the wine’s intensity. The nose is floral and concentrated, with aromas of acacia, peach, and nectarine, leading into a dry, mineral, acidic palate enriched with a gentle creaminess. Very fresh and food friendly.
