Chantemerle “La Chantemerle” Chablis 2022

This is the zenith of value for Chablis with the fruit coming from the stony soils in the village of Villy. Amazing fruit with no oak in the way of the grape, a philosophy of A & F Boudin. There is a direct expression of place in glass, showing flinty acid, salty minerality, baked green apple, a touch of flowers, musty wet stones, and lemon citrus.  You can wait 5 minutes between sips on this as you will still taste the depth from the previous sip.
