Cerro Napa Valley Petit Verdot 2015

Just the second release from owner and winemaker, Derek Beitler, who gets the fruit from Rutherford. Aged for three years in 33% new French oak, this Petit Verdot is not for the shy or faint-hearted: big, bold, smoky, spicy, dark, oaky, tannic, and intense – although floral aromas of violets and irises give the wine finesse and grace. As we say in California, “Go big, or go home.”
