Cave Dog Godello Sonoma Valley 2016

Grape of Spanish origin (especially Galicia, northwest Spain). Neutral barrel aged, no malolactic to keep its "crisp" acidity. Drinks like Semillon to us as it smells and tastes of citrus basket, wildflowers, peach/apricot, almond skin and bread crust (last two especially on the finish). Slight waxy mouthfeel. Excellent with catfish, seabass and such meaty fishes. 110 cases made.
