Cave Dog Albarino Napa Valley 2017

Winemaker Michael Havens was the first to bottle the great Spanish white grape, Albariño, here in California. Twenty years of making wine from the aromatic, high-acid grape has seen him perfect the craft, as this is as delicious as Albariño gets: a floral nose, with aromas of grapes, pears, and peaches, followed by an incredibly fresh, mouthwatering palate with a dry, mineral, steely texture, and a touch of spice on the long, gripping finish.
