Case Paolin Manzoni Bianco Costa degli Angeli Veneto 2017

Manzoni Bianco, a cross between Pinot Bianco and Riesling, is typically found in the northeast of Italy where it makes an aromatic, full bodied, dry white wine.  The grapes spend 12-15 hours in contact with the skins and an extended 8 months on the lees.  Very expressive, showing white flowers, apple blossom, tart green apple, lime zest and tangerine.  Richly textured with a 5w-30 weight viscosity and refreshingly bitter notes on the mid-palate.  A textbook example of the grape.
